Lounge chair ready? Check if your smart TV runs HaloShort
You've chosen a lounge chair and placed it in the living room; now you want a short-drama app on the TV. The label ?smart TV? doesn't answer whether HaloShort can be installed. Check the system on the TV or box?the chair's location and the TV brand won't tell you.
First find the device that actually runs the app
If what you usually open is the TV's own app interface, check the TV model and system; if the picture comes from an external box, look at the box's information. A screen with only an HDMI port cannot run Android apps on its own because of that. Connecting a compatible box is another kind of device arrangement, and you need to check display, power, network, and remote control at the same time. If existing conditions can meet the need, use them; there is no need to replace the entire TV setup just because you bought a new lounge chair.
Once it can be installed, go back to the chair and try one episode
If the app opens, you still need to see whether content can actually play. Pick an episode to check the picture, sound, and current subtitles, then sit in your usual spot and read a stretch of dialogue. Being able to see clearly while standing next to the TV does not mean the view from the lounge chair is the same.
